The Spina Bifida Association advocates for research to improve the lives of people living with Spina Bifida. As more research advances our understanding of Spina Bifida, we are committed to providing you with the tools you need to continuously build upon your work.
Researchers should submit the following to obtain SBA approval to promote a study:
- IRB approval.
- Informed-consent materials.
- Abstract with a detailed description of the study.
- Actual copy of the survey.
- Promotional materials to be used for recruitment.
- Agreement to share study outcomes with SBA.
- Explanation of study implications on the SB community and how it informs the Spina Bifida Community-Centered Research Agenda.
- Inclusion of the SB community during the development stage of proposal.
